1. Wilderness of the Lord

A time to eat the food of manna provided by God,

receive guidance from the pillar of cloud and fire,

and pass through the wilderness of refinement.

When I pray to the Lord,

the Lord responds

with a powerful rising carp.

Gideon's weakness

became my strength

through a sign from heaven.

I love God

with all my heart, with all my soul,

with all my mind, and with all my strength.

By relying on the love of the cross of Jesus,

we can live a life in heaven with faith that

passes through the wilderness of the times.

As we celebrate the day when the magpie brings

good news and hopes for the LORD’s blessing...
